Valencia, Calif. – WONDER WOMAN Flight of Courage – The World’s Tallest, Longest Single-Rail Coaster took flight today at Six Flags Magic Mountain, with its History-Making Record 20th Coaster.

Six Flags Magic Mountain, the “Thrill Capital of the World,” in partnership with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, makes history with the debut of WONDER WOMAN™ Flight of Courage, the world’s tallest, longest single-rail coaster, and a never-before-achieved milestone as the park’s record 20th coaster—the most at any theme park on the planet. Unlike any other ride experience at Six Flags Magic Mountain, WONDER WOMAN Flight of Courage propels riders single file on a nearly two-minute journey up a towering 13-story, 87-degree first drop and soaring at speeds up to 58 miles-per-hour over
3,300 feet of track.

Inspired by the power of WONDER WOMAN herself, the record-breaking coaster features five intense elements, including three dramatic inversions, through a series of dives, banks, rolls and turns. WONDER WOMAN Flight of Courage opened to the public on July 16, 2022.

Key features of WONDER WOMAN Flight of Courage include:
• Four sleek trains of 12 passengers each sitting one rider per row along the monorail
track;
• 3,300 feet of single-rail, I-beam track;
• Tension-building ascent up a towering, 131-foot lift hill;
• Reaching speeds up to 58 mph;
• Intense elements including a steep, 87-degree first drop and overbanked cutback;
• Three dramatic inversions including a 180-degree stall, raven dive and zero-gravity roll; and
• A themed entrance portal and queue inspired by the hidden island of Themyscira.

The Summer Trolley to Six Flags Returns to Santa Clarita offering rides to visitors and residents beginning Friday, June 4, through September 12.

Free Rides to and from Local Tourist Destinations Beginning June 4.

The City of Santa Clarita’s FREE Summer Trolley will make its grand return to Santa Clarita, offering rides to visitors and residents beginning Friday, June 4, through September 12. The Summer Trolley will provide service to premier hotel properties and tourism destinations, including Westfield Valencia Town Center and Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor.

The popular Summer Trolley runs daily beginning at 9:45 a.m. picking up riders from the Hyatt Regency Valencia/Westfield Valencia Town Center, Courtyard by Marriott/Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn/ Springhill Suites/ Residence Inn and Best Western. Return trips to those locations depart from Six Flags daily beginning at 6:00 p.m., with the last trolley leaving at 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

The Summer Trolley’s night-time service allows residents and hotel guests to ride in style to the Westfield Valencia Town Center (Hyatt Regency Valencia stop), which is filled with signature shopping opportunities and destination dining, including The Cheesecake Factory, Slaters 50/50 and Lazy Dog in addition to favorite spots like Salt Creek Grille and BJ’s.

The trolley was built to reflect the iconic Brill Trolley Coach, which operated throughout Los Angeles in the early 1900s, featuring wooden style benches, leather hand straps for passengers, with upgraded cutting-edge transit technology in addition to a vibrant exterior finish. In addition to a nostalgic style, the trolley is also powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), producing fewer emissions than a standard passenger car. The trolley is ADA compliant with a powered lift for those who may need assistance getting aboard.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor to Reopen May 15, 2021 Just in Time for Summer Time Fun!

VALENCIA, California — May 7, 2021 —Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, located next door to Six Flags Magic Mountain, announced plans to reopen the park to Members and Pass holders on May 15-16, and to the general public on May 22, 2021.

In accordance with state and county reopening guidelines for waterparks, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will operate at reduced attendance levels utilizing the company’s new reservation system.


“As warmer temperatures return this year, we are excited to offer guests a safe, outdoor environment for fun in the sun,” said Six Flags Magic Mountain & Hurricane Harbor Park President Don McCoy. “Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is a great place to enjoy some of the most thrilling water slide attractions in Southern California with friends and family.”

The park’s reopening date is subject to change based on local, state, and federal guidelines related to COVID-19. Detailed reopening plans include:


Park Reservations System to Control Capacity Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has established attendance caps that are in accordance with current state guidelines to allow for proper social distancing. All Members, Season Pass holders and all guests with a single-day or group ticket will need to make a reservation at www.sixflags.com/reserve. Guests who need single-day tickets will be able to reserve during the purchase process.


Protocols for the safe operation of rides
• Easy-to-identify distance markers have been added in all water slide lines;
• Handrails will be regularly sanitized throughout the day; and
• Masks must remain on except while experiencing a slide or water attraction.
Health Screenings for Guests and Team Members
• Contactless IR thermal imaging will be used to screen temperatures of guests and
employees prior to entry;
• Advanced security screening technology will allow for touchless bag checks;
• Individuals will be required to acknowledge and abide by the company’s health
policies, which prohibits park entry if guests have recently been exposed to or are
experiencing symptoms of COVID-19;
• Following CDC guidelines, all guests over the age of two and all team members will
be required to wear face masks covering the nose and mouth throughout their
visit/workday (exceptions apply in pools and on waterpark attractions); and
• Disposable masks will be available at Guest Relations, and reusable masks will be
available for purchase at in-park retail locations.
Strictly Enforced Social Distancing
• Easy-to-identify distance markers have been added in all park entry, restroom, retail
locations, and slide and dining queue lines; and
• Dining areas have been adjusted to allow ample space between seated parties;
Extensive Sanitization and Disinfecting Protocols
• Trained and dedicated cleaning teams have been put in place;
• Increased sanitization and disinfecting of high touch points including all public
seating, tabletops, counters, handrails, doors, deck chairs, life jackets, tubes, rafts,
and trash cans will occur frequently;
• Restroom staff will be available to disinfect each stall and sink area on a frequent basis;
• Multiple alcohol-based hand-sanitizer stations will be located throughout the park;
and
• All work areas will be regularly sanitized and disinfected.
Sanitized Food Preparation and Service
• Modified menus and implementation of mobile food ordering will help facilitate
touchless transactions;
• Condiments, self-serve cutlery, and napkins will be provided to guests with their
meals as required; and
• Attendants will serve beverages, and guests will receive drink bottle refills in a paper
cup each time they refill.
Commercial-Grade Cleaning Equipment and Supplies
• All employees will be issued Team Member Action Packs which will include: two
reusable face masks, safety glasses, and disposable gloves;
• Low pressure backpack sprayers will be utilized for disinfecting large areas;
• Abundant supplies of sanitizers and disinfectants will be available;
• Microfiber cloths will be used to sanitize surfaces; and
• Queue line supplies, fencing, and tents will be in place to promote safe social
distancing.
Multi-Layered Guest and Team Member Communication
• Frontline team members will go through extensive COVID-19 training;
• Safety messaging and reminders will be communicated on Six Flags’ website,
newsletters, and in-park announcements;
• Distance markers and physical distance indicators will be in place; and
• Informational safety signage will be posted throughout the park.

Six Flags Magic Mountain Announces April 1 Re-Opening. Park is Ready to Open with Extensive New Safety Measures in Place.

Valencia, California —Six Flags Magic Mountain announced plans to reopen the park to members and passholders on April 1 and 2, and to the general public on April 3, 2021. In accordance with state reopening guidelines for theme parks, Six Flags Magic Mountain will operate at reduced attendance levels utilizing a new reservation system. The park is also implementing extensive safety measures including several new advanced technology systems to protect guests and employees. The plan, developed in consultation with infectious disease experts, sets standards for executing at the highest levels of hygiene and social distancing protocols. These procedures will be adjusted on an as-needed basis to ensure compliance with state and county recommendations.

• Increased sanitization and disinfecting of high touch points including all public seating,
tabletops, counters, handrails, doors, and trash cans will occur frequently;
• Restroom staff will be available to disinfect each stall and sink area on a frequent basis;
• Multiple alcohol-based hand-sanitizer stations will be located throughout the park; and
• All work areas will be regularly sanitized and disinfected.

Sanitized Food Preparation and Service
• Modified menus and implementation of mobile food ordering will help facilitate touchless
transactions;
• Self-service buffets and salad bars will be reconfigured to eliminate guest contact with food;
