Editor-in-Chief, City Life CommunicationsVALENCIA, Calif. – Hollywood celebrities and Santa Clarita mover and shakers alike will be anteing up for a good cause when the SCV Youth Project hosts its second annual “Hold ‘Em, Not Hassle ‘Em Poker Tournament on Nov. 1, at the Tournament Players Club Valencia.
 Access Hollywood Host, Tony Potts, (pictured above) will be joining in on the fun, while serving as emcee for this year’s star-studded event as he lends his support to the SCV Youth Project.”I have been a resident of Santa Clarita for five years and I am honored to be involved with the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Project.” Potts said.In addition to Potts, additional celebrity guests include KABC’s AM790 Talk radio commentator Larry Elder. As a supporter of the SCV Youth Project, Elder emceed the SCV Youth Projects inaugural Poker Tournament last year. Other celebrities expected to attend include: April Scott (Author, Actress, Model, Deal or No Deal), Mark and Brian and co-host, Preva (KLOS), Dave Foley (Actor, NewsRadio, A Bugs Life, Kids in the Hall), Sean Valentine (Radio Host, KBIG 104), Trichelle (MTV’s Real World, Dr. Steve O, and Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Wrestling) and John Ziegler (Talk Show Host/Film Producer).”We are thrilled to have Tony Potts and our special celebrity friends as guests at our fund raising event,” Kim Goldman, executive director of the SCV Youth Project said. “We expect this event will once again be a sell out at the TPC and are confident that our guests will enjoy a night of fun, which will hopefully mean big money for the Youth Project.”A non-profit organization, the SCV Youth Project provides confidential counseling to youth facing such serious issues as drug/alcohol abuse, anger, divorce, peer pressure, grief/loss, suicide, depression and other problems facing teens today.

Proceeds will benefit the SCV Youth Project, a non-profit organization which serves teens on six local high schools and five junior high campuses of the WilliamS.HartUnionHighSchool District.
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with check-in and a silent auction as guests enjoy mingling, food and beverages and a cigar bar. The tournament kicks off at 6:30 featuring fun and banter throughout the evening.

Sponsorships are still available ranging from $500 to $5, 000, with $125 Individual buy-ins for the tournament and event. Spectators are also welcome to attend by purchasing a $40 viewing and silent auction option.
