Riders will fly single file through the sky over 3,300 feet of track, towering 13 stories and soaring at speeds up to 58 miles-per-hour.
WONDER WOMAN™ Flight of Courage will be located in the six-acre DC UNIVERSE™ area of the park, which will be expanded and entirely remodeled to include a new, innovative restaurant and bar experience, plus retail locations featuring exclusive DC branded merchandise.

WONDER WOMAN™ Flight of Courage exemplifies the Super Hero’s traits of strength and speed—showcasing the legacy of WONDER WOMAN™ herself. As guests enter the ride queue, influenced by Greek architecture and featuring tropical landscaping, they will be immersed in the story of her life and how she obtained her super powers. Riders will join forces with WONDER WOMAN™ in the fight for truth, justice, and equality, to embark on an incredible journey of heroic feats, propelling through dives, banks, rolls, and turns designed to challenge the bravest of thrill seekers.

The design of the Academy Museum/The Haas Brothers NFTs is inspired by the Academy Museum Pillar Award, also created by The Haas Brothers, which references the museum’s soaring sphere building and the iconic gold of the Oscar®. This award is presented annually at the Academy Museum Gala to a philanthropist or philanthropists who have meaningfully supported the museum. It was first awarded to Academy Museum Campaign Chairs Bob Iger, Annette Bening, and Tom Hanks at the Academy Museum Opening Gala on September 25, 2021.
The Academy Museum/The Haas Brothers NFTs are moving renderings of the Pillar Award combined with marquee quotes by film industry leaders sourced from The Future of Cinema gallery, the exit gallery in the museum’s three-floor core exhibition Stories of Cinema. Each quote is minted in five different colors. The first grouping to be issued—comprising five NFTs—will feature a quote from actor Whoopi Goldberg that reads, “The future of cinema is in your hands now.” Other editions of the NFT will feature quotes from additional filmmakers and film artists including Howard Berger, Effie T. Brown, Sid Ganis, and R.J. Kizer.

Vents Magazine Cosmic Reaction – An Experimental Psychedelic Art Collage Video (About The Video – In 2018 PIERA went to Puerto Rico to film their video for Cosmic Reaction. Some parts were also filmed in Joshua Tree, and some in and around the Los Angeles area. The entire PIERA album is very cosmic and mystical and sparked a desire in Klein to showcase her character/avatar waking up in different worlds – each environment in high contrast to the next, from the Puerto Rican Jungle of El Yunque to the high California desert, and back home to the rolling hills of Echo Park. The experimental psychedelic art collage was a true collaboration between friends, Piera, her best friend Adrian Arredondo, and Micah Plissner.)

Los Angeles, Calif. – Dawn Hudson, chief executive officer of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, announced today that, after a successful and transformational tenure, this current term will be her last as Academy CEO.
“After more than ten years and the incredibly successful opening of our new museum, I’ve decided, when this term concludes, it will be time for me to explore other opportunities and adventures as this can hardly be topped,” said Hudson. “We’ve achieved so much together that’s been most important to me — our ongoing commitment to representation and inclusion; adapting the Academy into a digitally sophisticated global institution; and creating the world’s premier movie museum that will be the destination of film fans for decades. The Board of Governors and I are mutually committed to a seamless transition to new leadership. I’m excited for what the future holds, for both the Academy and for me.”
“Dawn has been, and continues to be, a groundbreaking leader for the Academy. Advancements in the diversity and gender parity of our membership, our increased international presence, and the successful opening of a world-class Academy Museum — a project she revived, guided and championed — are already part of her legacy. Hudson joined the Academy as CEO in 2011. In her role, she oversees the Academy’s 450-person staff in Los Angeles, New York and London; operations and outreach, including awards, membership, marketing, communications, finance and technology; the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and the Academy Foundation. The Foundation includes educational initiatives, fellowships and grants, the Margaret Herrick Library and the Academy Film Archive.
With Hudson at the helm building and overseeing its financial assets, including the Oscars®, the Academy has become more accessible to its members and people around the world. The institution has achieved advances in technology and the modernization of its infrastructure, which have enabled greater global outreach, member communications and events, online voting and streaming on the Academy Screening Room, and a significantly expanded social media presence.
Under her leadership, Hudson has driven significant diversity, inclusion and representation initiatives across the Academy membership, governance and staff. As a result, the Academy more than doubled the number of women and underrepresented ethnic/racial communities within its membership through the A2020 initiative, bringing in the most diverse class in the organization’s history at that time. Hudson also oversaw the creation of Aperture 2025, establishing inclusion standards for Oscars eligibility, to further the Academy’s efforts to advance representation in the entertainment industry.
Hudson was integral to the development of the Academy Museum, which opened to the public in September and is the largest museum in the United States devoted to the arts and sciences of moviemaking.
A search for Hudson’s successor will soon be underway, and she will have a vital role in the transition.

Patrick Long
Patrick Long is one of the most accomplished sports car drivers of his generation. Since 2003, Long has served as the lone American on Porsche’s roster of factory drivers. Long has captured victory at the world’s biggest sports car races – winning at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, Petit Le Mans, and the 12 Hours of Bathurst. Long is also a three-time American Le Mans Series champion and two-time Pirelli World Challenge champion. Long is also the creator of Luftgekuhlt. Created as a celebration of air-cooled Porsches, Luftgekuhlt has become one of the most anticipated auto events of the year.
Alwin Springer
Legendary figure in Porsche racing. Worked initially as head of Porsche racing vehicles for Vasek Polak 1969. Co-founded ANDIAL in 1975 and was VP for over 21 years (1975-’96), providing racing services to a wide spectrum of Porsche race car teams, including the Porsche 962s which won 50 IMSA races in the mid-’70s. Consultant to Porsche Motorsport N.A. 1990-’96, President of Porsche Motorsport N.A. from 1997-’04, then consultant again 2004-present.
Prototype Giants | About the Exhibit
The Porsche 956 was built to comply with the 1982 FIA World Sportscar Championship (WSC)’s new Group C regulations and was the first racing car to feature an aluminum monocoque chassis and ground effect aerodynamic elements. Factory 956s won the 24 Hours of Le Mans that year, leading every lap and taking first, second and third place. In 1983, a 956 driven by Stephen Bellof set the overall lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, which stood for 35 years until a modified Porsche 919 Hybrid eclipsed it in 2018.
The 962 was created to meet the updated IMSA GTP specifications, with the Group C entrants taking the 962C nameplate. The 962 became one of the most dominant race cars ever, winning the WSC in 1985 and 1986, the IMSA GT championship from 1985-88, the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1986 and 87, the 1994 24 Hours of Le Mans 1994 (a modified customer car), and other racing series for 10 years straight.

Visitors to the park will have the opportunity to enjoy a short story as they stroll along the paseo. Join the Library in celebrating this exciting new park amenity on Thursday, October 21, at 9:30 a.m. near the River Village Park Trail of Duane R. Harte Park.
“Trail Tales” features 11 podiums along the River Village Park Trail at Duane R. Harte Park, with pages of a short story displayed on each podium. The first featured story stars our City mascot, Sammy Clarita, in the book Sammy Stories Volume 2: Sammy Gets To Work. The Library hopes to promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle and literary exploration with this new park opportunity.
The Library is excited to host a special Thursday in the Park event to help welcome “Trail Tales” to the Santa Clarita community on October 21. In the featured short story, Sammy Clarita attempts to work various jobs throughout the City in an effort to figure out his future career. The book shows the different roles Sammy tries out, but in the end, only one suits him best.
Attendees of all ages are welcome to join in on this fun event. Children will have the opportunity to learn about and even try their hand at various City positions, just like Sammy. At the end of the story, children will also have the chance to attend storytime with a librarian!

Los Angeles, Calif.- Santa Clarita, Calif. – A breathe of fresh air, that is what the Synth Pop Duo PIERA brings to the stage. With their voluminous otherworldly soundscapes and Piera Klein’s mystical energy met with powerful and pure vocals and lyrics, the duo immersed the crowd in an ocean of ambient electronic sounds, catapulting the unsuspecting audience into another dimension.

PIERA has proven they can go head-to-head with the best of all the creative music legends. They pluck new and original inspirations from across the spectrum –80s, Psychedelic, Goth, Indie-rock, Punk and Synthpop — and everything between, capturing little nuances of retro music that seems to be reborn for the modern age. Opening for Oingo Boingo is a big responsibility, but PIERA showed up in a big way, capturing the audience and creating many new fans and followers, many of them coming to get a glimpse at their meet and greet and gushing over their new music crush. It’s a testament to how talented both members of PIERA truly are.

Both Micah and Piera are as individual as it gets, but somehow they manage to make it work, PIERA’S music is very distinctive, every song on the album is a singular masterpiece on it’s own. The self-titled album “PIERA” was co-written and produced by Micah and Piera, The single “Cosmic Reaction” – was released in May and quickly climbed up the triple A and College charts. The vision was to create an epic cosmic soundscape that would take the listener on a ride into another dimension, which was greatly achieved. Micah says, “It was originally inspired by psychedelic garage bands like Love, The Sonics, Sky Saxon, and The 13th Floor Elevators and somehow morphed into this. At the same time we wanted to showcase Piera as the interstellar mystic that she is. She definitely has a cosmic energy about her.”
Piera Klein vocals are haunting and pure, a cross between Sade, Terri Nunn, and Enya; but with a more sultry vibe. Piera Klein is also a passionate activist and plays a supportive leadership role in the Los Angeles based non-profit “Visionary Women”.
Micah and Piera collaborated on the album in different ways, Pierasays, “We are an executive committee of 2, requiring both of us to be in full agreement on each song in each stage of production. We both compose melodies, and write lyrics, as well as produce. One rule we have is that if one of us doesn’t like an idea in a song, it gets immediately scratched without an argument. We really trust one another’s instincts and it keeps us moving forward like lightning”.

(About The Video – In 2018 PIERA went to Puerto Rico to film their video for Cosmic Reaction, some was also filmed in Joshua Tree, and some in and around the Los Angeles area. The entire PIERA album is very cosmic and mystical and sparked a desire in Klein to showcase her character/avatar waking up in different worlds – each environment in high contrast to the next, from the Puerto Rican Jungle of El Yunque to the high California desert, and back home to the rolling hills of Echo Park. The experimental psychedelic art collage was a true collaboration between friends, Piera, her best friend Adrian Arredondo, and Micah Plissner.)

Calabasas, Calif. – Nights Of The Jack is an immersive Halloween experience for all ages. Vast grounds of intricately hand-carved and illuminated jack o’lanterns will welcome visitors as they make their way through the walking trail around King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas, CA. Angelenos will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a Halloween wonderland featuring a live pumpkin carver, gift shop, top LA food trucks, our “The Spookeasy Bar” and tons of other “Instagrammable” moments for all to enjoy! Come experience what everyone is talking about!
Nights of the Jack takes place from October 1th – October 31st. We are open at 6:00pm and closed at 10:00pm. We have designated time slots starting at 6:30pm and ending at 9:00pm. Advanced ticket purchase is required for each individual.
The trail is a 2/3 mile long walking trail and it is self-guided. Visitors are welcome to experience the attractions at their own pace. Most guests spend 1-1.5 hours on the grounds engaging in our activation zone before or after they walk the trail. Enjoy a variety of food and beverages, watch nightly live carving, capture those instagramable moments, join in the fun with interactive experiences or visit “The Spookeasy Bar” for a seasonal cocktail to take with you on the trail! The trail experience is NOT scary but can be a little spooky in a few places.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site from a rotation of LA’s top food trucks and vendors. We will be serving hot and cold seasonal beverages. There will also be seasonal alcoholic drinks for purchase for those 21+ years of age at one of our “Spookeasy” Bars.
There are bathrooms located in multiple areas of the grounds. We have bathrooms in our parking lot, our pre-show and out on the trail for use.
ALL ages are welcome to attend our event and there is truly something to enjoy whether you are old or young.
All tickets are non-refundable. Our show will operate rain or shine.
Attendees will pass through a security checkpoint prior to entering our activation zone. Please downsize any purses or bags you are bringing with you. All bags will be searched.
The main trail of jack o’lanterns is all on asphalt and fully accessible. Please be mindful that our pre-show area and parking areas are situated on a compacted dirt lot.
Generally, there are no pets permitted on the grounds of King Gillette Ranch, only service animals with proper documentation.
Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the grounds.
Guests are encouraged to take photos, post on social media and share their experience with family and friends l!
The event is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.

NOT ALLOWED: Large backpacks, professional recording devices, digital equipment, flashlights, weapons or sharp objects of any kind, mace, spray bottles, promotional items, outside food or beverages.
Self-parking is available on site for purchase through the TIXR site after selecting your tickets and prior to check out. You will need a parking pass to park on-site. Parking is $9.99. Each ticket has its own QR code for entry per person. Each person must have a ticket, it’s not necessary to match the name to the attendee.
Tickets are $34.99 and up depending on the day you attend and the time of the season. Your ticket is valid for 1 person each. Children 2 years and under are free. Please be sure to purchase a ticket for each individual you are attending the show with. In addition to your Admission Tickets be sure to purchase your Parking Pass to access our parking lot. If you are being dropped off to the show you do not need a Parking Pass. Ticket prices may increase post our presale period.
We allow only a certain number of people to enter the event per time slot as there is a limited capacity and number of tickets we can extend for each time listed.

You can arrive up to 30 minutes prior to their time slot for the evening. You will be allowed to access the trail for the ticket time you purchased. Unfortunately you may not change your time slot for a purchased ticket.
No tickets will be available for purchase at the door, you must purchase all tickets in advance online. We encourage you to visit the website frequently as additional ticket allotments may be released.
We encourage you to have your digital ticket ready for scanning on your smartphone or in your TIXR app. Alternatively, you may print a copy of your ticket and bring it with you for scanning upon arrival.
