Westfield Valencia Town Center Mall ushers in completion of a $20 million renovation and Holiday Season with ‘Carols of the Community’ festivities.

Santa Clarita, Calif. – Westfield Valencia Town Center celebrated its $20 million renovation and the Holiday Season. Giving thanks, this holiday season and coming together as a community was the theme for the evening.  Performances of local schools featured such songs as “Carol of the Bells” by the towering colorful Christmas tree in JCPenney Court. 

Schools performing included: 

  • Arroyo Seco Junior High School
  • Golden Valley High School
  • Rio Norte Juior High School
  • Hart High School
  • Valencia High School
  • West Ranch High School
  • Rancho Pico Junior High School
  • Saugus High School

The evening kicked off the first Give Thanks Thursday where the mall will be giving back to the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley.  Members of the Boys & Girls Club will be Gift Givers providing acts of kindness to shoppers. 

Shoppers also got a glimpse of the specially decorated Christmas Trees to be auctioned off at the annual Festival of the Trees event, with judging taking place during the mall festivities. Skaters enjoyed the new LA Kings Ice Skating Rink amid the colorful lights on Town Center Drive.

Starbucks treated guests to hot cocoa and coffee as guests enjoyed the sites and sounds of the newly refurbished mall.
