Los Angeles, Calif. – The stars came out to shine at Music’s Biggest Night® during the 66th Grammy Awards held at the Crypto Arena in downtown Los Angeles. The heavy rain poured down outside even as Joni Mitchell’s rendition of her iconic song Both Sides Now from her 1969 album Clouds, drew tears of emotion from the audience and television viewers alike.

“Music has always been one of humanities greatest connectors,” said Harvey Mason jr., CEO, the Recording Academy. “Every song we heard tonight moved someone… Now is the time for Humanity to play together to come together, with empathy and Love,” Mason said.

Grammys host, Trevor Noah, kept the mood upbeat throughout the evening with his quick wit and humor as well as his heartfelt observations. “These people write the soundtracks of our lives,” Noah said.

Celine Dion presented the final award of the evening. “When I say that I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart,” Dion said. “Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammys must never forget the joy that music brings to people all around the world.” She then presented Taylor Swift with her fourth Album of the Year Award, the first artist to surpass Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder who held the most in the category with three Best Albums wins each, prior to this evening’s ceremonies.
