SANTA CLARITA PUBLIC LIBRARY OPENS NEW PASSPORT ACCEPTANCE FACILITY IN VALENCIA LIBRARY.

The Santa Clarita Public Library is excited to announce the opening of their second Passport Acceptance Facility at the Valencia Library, located at 23743 West Valencia Boulevard.

The Santa Clarita Public Library has what you need for your next adventure and that includes passport services through the Passport Acceptance Facility. According to the U.S. Department of State, more than 20 million passport books and cards were issued in 2018 in the United States alone. The Santa Clarita Public Library is proud to be able to offer convenient passport services at the Old Town Newhall Library and now at the Valencia branch. Passport services are offered to library customers by appointment only.

            The Passport Acceptance Facility offers the following services:

·         First-time passports

·         Passport renewals for passports issued before the applicant was 16 years of age

·         Renewals for expired passports issued more than 15 years ago

·         Replacements for lost, stolen, or damaged passports

·         Passport photos
